by Katie Colley
Miranda Lambert is shining a light on her fellow country artists.
Taking to social media on Monday evening, the singer compiled her thoughts on this year’s CMA Entertainer of the Year nominees: Garth Brooks, Eric Church, Keith Urban, Chris Stapleton, and Carrie Underwood.
It’s fall weather in Nashville! Sitting here on my porch, I realize with the chill in the air that it’s getting closer to Nov which means my birthday month and #CMAawards final voting time. Entertainer Of The Year is the big one So I’m gonna share my two cents… pic.twitter.com/lAS2GvmtUH

Lambert, who is only up for one award at this year’s show, is tied with Reba as the most-nominated female artist at the CMA Awards with a total of 50 nods.

“He believed in me when I was a baby artist and I will be forever grateful,” she writes of two-time CMA Entertainer of the Year winner Keith Urban.
“One of the best songwriters of all time in my opinion,” she adds of Eric Church, two-time CMA Entertainer of the Year nominee.

But in the heavily male-dominated genre, it was Carrie Underwood who Lambert really stood her ground for: “She put out her first single in 2005 and from then on country music was changed for good.”
“She blows me away every time I hear her sing,” Lambert adds.
Underwood and Lambert released their ultimate girl anthem “Somethin’ Bad” back in 2014, which peaked at No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart.
