by Brent Furdyk
Shay Mitchell is officially a mom!

The 32-year-old actress gave birth to her first child — a baby girl — with her boyfriend, Matte Babel.

Mitchell announced the news with a photo she posted to Instagram on Sunday. The excited new mom shared a heartwarming snapshot of her newborn daughter’s tiny hand reaching out and grasping her finger tip.

Mitchell captioned the touching photo simply, “Never letting go…”

Many of Mitchell’s friends and fellow celebs excitedly celebrated the big news, congratulating the couple on the new addition to their family — including her “Pretty Little Liars” co-star Ashley Benson, who commented, “Congrats angel. Love you. Can’t wait to meet the baby booooo.”

ET has reached out to the happy couple for comment.

Mitchell has been quietly dating 38-year-old Babel since January 2017, and she announced she was pregnant in June with a topless Instagram picture showing off her baby bump. The happy news came just over six months after she revealed to fans that she had suffered a miscarriage last year.

“Does this mean I’m allowed to drive in the car pool lane at all times now?” she joked.

Mitchell has been documenting her pregnancy journey on her YouTube series, “Almost Ready”, including her epic “Power Rangers”-themed gender reveal. The show also didn’t shy away from more serious moments, such as when she broke down while talking about her past miscarriage. Mitchell explained why she chose to announce her pregnancy when she was already six months along.

“I chose to hold on until I announced because of the first time,” she said. “It didn’t go as I had hoped for, and it was extremely difficult. The first time that I was pregnant last year, Matte and I hadn’t been planning, it happened and we were really excited about it. I was like, 14 weeks. At that point, I had no idea the percentages of miscarriages.”

“When it happened, I was just completely blindsided by it,” she continued. “I still have those photos on my phone. I still have all the doctor visits, and it’s weird because I haven’t looked at them, obviously, but it’s not like I forgot about that happening. Of course, I’m, like, super happy, but I still feel for that one that I lost. … It’s just really tough because you feel broken as a woman, and that’s not a great feeling.”

Mitchell also got emotional about not being able to do the things she was used to — like going out as well as pushing herself to the limits when it comes to exercising — and at one point, cried by herself in her car.

“This is the shi**y side of being pregnant when nobody knows because you can’t go out to see anyone, you don’t want to see anyone, because, anyways … I don’t feel myself,” she said.

Of course, Mitchell has experienced more lighthearted moments during her pregnancy, including her incredible dancing while trying to induce labor.

“I’m officially overdue and trying everything…. dancing, extra spicy Prince Street pizza, turmeric ice cream (although Matte seems to be having more of it than I do),” she wrote about her YouTube video on Oct. 10. “If the Baby Mama Dance won’t work, what will??”

Miranda Lambert Backs Carrie Underwood For CMA Entertainer Of The Year: ‘She Blows Me Away’

Miranda Lambert Backs Carrie Underwood For CMA Entertainer Of The Year: ‘She Blows Me Away’
by Katie Colley
Miranda Lambert is shining a light on her fellow country artists.

Taking to social media on Monday evening, the singer compiled her thoughts on this year’s CMA Entertainer of the Year nominees: Garth Brooks, Eric Church, Keith Urban, Chris Stapleton, and Carrie Underwood.

It’s fall weather in Nashville! Sitting here on my porch, I realize with the chill in the air that it’s getting closer to Nov which means my birthday month and #CMAawards final voting time. Entertainer Of The Year is the big one So I’m gonna share my two cents…

— Miranda Lambert (@mirandalambert) October 8, 2019

Lambert, who is only up for one award at this year’s show, is tied with Reba as the most-nominated female artist at the CMA Awards with a total of 50 nods.

“He believed in me when I was a baby artist and I will be forever grateful,” she writes of two-time CMA Entertainer of the Year winner Keith Urban.

“One of the best songwriters of all time in my opinion,” she adds of Eric Church, two-time CMA Entertainer of the Year nominee.

But in the heavily male-dominated genre, it was Carrie Underwood who Lambert really stood her ground for: “She put out her first single in 2005 and from then on country music was changed for good.”

“She blows me away every time I hear her sing,” Lambert adds.

Underwood and Lambert released their ultimate girl anthem “Somethin’ Bad” back in 2014, which peaked at No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart.

NEWS;Joaquin Phoenix Switches Places With Jimmy Fallon During Weird ‘Tonight Show’ Appearance

Joaquin Phoenix Switches Places With Jimmy Fallon During Weird ‘Tonight Show’ Appearance
by Brent Furdyk
On the same day “Joker” opened in theatres, Joaquin Phoenix paid a visit to “The Tonight Show” to promote his anticipated new film.

Host Jimmy Fallon started things off by reading Phoenix a list of eccentric facts about the actor that may or may not be true, with at least one of them bona fide, including Phoenix’s belief that reality TV stars are the best actors in the world and that one of his nicknames is “kitten.”

The big revelation: Phoenix has watched the Will Ferrell-John C. Reilly comedy “Step Brothers” more than any other movie.

Midway through the interview, things take a weird turn when Fallon offers a description of “Joker” that Phoenix feels is a bit on the lame side.

“I mean, you’re great in general,” Phoenix tells Fallon of his setup, “but that wasn’t the best.”

After Fallon tries another attempt to describe the movie, Phoenix insists there’s no reason to tell people anything other than “let them just see it… or not.”

Dejected, Fallon walks away from his desk, declaring, “You don’t need me. It’s cool.”

As Fallon stands off to the side looking heartbroken, Phoenix hops into the host’s chair behind the desk.

“Alright, welcome back!” Phoenix tells the cheering audience. “We got a great guest tonight — Jimmy Fallon,” leading Fallon to perk back up and take a seat in the guest’s chair — where he talked about “Joker” as if he were Phoenix, with the conversation going hilariously off the rails as Fallon shared his experiences working with “T.P.” (his nickname for “Joker” director Todd Phillips) and how he nailed a scene involving breakfast.

In another part of the interview, the pair discuss their addictions, with Fallon explaining how he was trying to kick soda while Phoenix discussed seeing a hypnotist in order to quit smoking. Watch:

Tyler Swift is Finally Telling her side of the story with the twist between she and West.

Taylor Swift is finally telling her side of the story in her feud with Kanye West.

The “Lover” singer is on the cover of the new Rolling Stone and in the issue, sits down for a wide-ranging conversation about her career and all its ups and downs.

Among the downs has been her longtime feud with West, which started in 2009 after he famously interrupted her VMAs acceptance speech.

The acrimony came to a head in 2016 when Swift spoke out against a reference to her in his song “Famous” in which he rapped, “I made that b***h famous,” only to see his wife, Kim Kardashian, release recordings of a phone call in which Swift was heard seemingly approving of the lines about her in the song.

“The world didn’t understand the context and the events that led up to it,” Swift says. “Because nothing ever just happens like that without some lead-up. Some events took place to cause me to be pissed off when he called me a b***h.”

The 29-year-old explains that in the time since the VMAs incident, she and West had reconnected and had become friends.

“When someone doesn’t respect you so loudly and says you literally don’t deserve to be here — I just so badly wanted that respect from him, and I hate that about myself, that I was like, ‘This guy who’s antagonizing me, I just want his approval.’ But that’s where I was,” she recalls.

Things got testy again in 2015, though, when Swift presented West with that year’s VMAs Video Vanguard Award.

“He called me up beforehand — I didn’t illegally record it, so I can’t play it for you,” Swift says. “But he called me up, maybe a week or so before the event, and we had maybe over an hour-long conversation, and he’s like, ‘I really, really would like for you to present this Vanguard Award to me, this would mean so much to me,’ and went into all the reasons why it means so much, because he can be so sweet. He can be the sweetest. And I was so stoked that he asked me that.”

Then, when West went up to accept the award, he told the audience, “You know how many times they announced Taylor was going to give me the award ’cause it got them more ratings?”

“I realized he is so two-faced,” Swift says. “That he wants to be nice to me behind the scenes, but then he wants to look cool, get up in front of everyone and talk s**t. And I was so upset. He wanted me to come talk to him after the event in his dressing room. I wouldn’t go.”

West later sent her a big bouquet of flowers, and she decided to put aside her upset feelings.

When West called Swift up the next year to run a line from “Famous” by her, in which he says, “Me and Taylor might still have sex,” she says she was actually “touched” but he apparently hadn’t told her about the “b***h” line.

“And then when I heard the song, I was like, ‘I’m done with this. If you want to be on bad terms, let’s be on bad terms, but just be real about it,'” she recalls.

“And then he literally did the same thing to Drake,” Swift adds, referring to Pusha-T’s revelation of Drake’s child on a record produced by West. “He gravely affected the trajectory of Drake’s family and their lives. It’s the same thing. Getting close to you, earning your trust, detonating you. I really don’t want to talk about it anymore because I get worked up and I don’t want to just talk about negative s**t all day, but it’s the same thing. Go watch Drake talk about what happened.”

Swift says it took until the tour for her album Reputation to properly get past the incident.

“It was sometime on the ‘Reputation’ tour, which was the most transformative emotional experience of my career,” she says. “That tour put me in the healthiest, most balanced place I’ve ever been. After that tour, bad stuff can happen to me, but it doesn’t level me anymore.”
